Draft document: The scope of radiological protection

We welcome the production of this document by the ICRP. We agree that the magnitude of the exposure is not the only factor that needs to be taken account of when determining the degree of control required and that other facots such as amenability of control also need to be taken into account. We question whether it is appropriate to reference 'Proposed Draft' standards. These Codex Alimentarius guideline levels are still being developed and have not formally been adopted. Once the fincal version of the guidelines have been adopted does a 'proposed draft' have any further existence?
